If you think you consistently find yourself in areas of spotty Internet connection when commuting to work, or at home, for example, and you love movies, then YouTube-'s offline feature is meant to give you. The feature allows users to enjoy their favorite YouTube videos on their Android and iOS devices, even when there is no usable network connection. Here's what YouTube-'s offline feature is all about and how you can take advantage of it.

Launched in 2014, YouTube-'s offline feature allows users to save YouTube videos on their Android and iOS device for later consumption. These videos can be downloaded via the cellular data or Wi-Fi network. Feature is ad-supported, though, so you have to sit through before you get your video ad.


Not every video available

It should be noted that not every video is available for viewing. Much of India's popular YouTube content can be downloaded, but you can come across some videos that are available for download.

How to Watch and save Yotube Videos Offline

To make a YouTube video is not available, first of all, you need to open the YouTube app on your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet.

Visit the video file you want to download. Look for add network icon below the video (Alternatively, you can click the context menu button and select the Add Offline option). Do note that if the video is available for offline viewing, it will have crossed Add Network button. You can not download the video to your device.

Upon clicking the Add Offline button, YouTube app will ask you to choose the resolution is low, medium, HD - Reviews Low quality download quickly pick up little space on your device, but will be relatively poor quality. When you select the quality of the video will be saved to your device.

How to Watch and save Yotube Videos Offline

Note that only the saved video will be available within YouTube app. Locate the file, go to the home page YouTube-. You can do it, or drag the video using a gesture or just by tapping the back button on Android.

When you're on the home page, click the Account tab (the one that is right most corner that looks like the human body).

You can find the saved videos on this page. Clicking this will show you all the videos you saved for offline viewing.
